Royal Free International Advanced Endoscopy Masterclass
The Royal Free Hospital are pleased to announce it will be hosting the Royal Free International Advanced Endoscopy Masterclass from August 31st to September 2nd 2017 directed by Dr Edward Despott and Dr Alberto Murino.
Held in the spacious home of the Royal Society of Medicine in Central London, this comprehensive educational event has the participation of a stellar faculty of highly acclaimed international and national speakers to showcase the state-of-the-art of advanced endoscopy including Professor Hironori Yanamoto.
The event endorsed by the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), the World Endoscopy Organisation (WEO) and the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG), will consist of 2 full days of didactic and interactive lectures followed by a day of hands-on endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) training on tissue models with international experts. The course shall run in parallel with a state-of-the-art IBD post-graduate symposium.
Dr Edward Despott, Consultant Gastroenterologist and advanced Gastrointestinal Endoscopist has a specialist interest in Device Assisted Enteroscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Therapeutic Colonoscopy and Transnasal Upper GI Endoscopy.
He is regularly invited to speak and perform live endoscopy demonstrations at national and international meetings and has undergone dedicated advanced endoscopy training in Japan.
