What is PLEXR?

PLEXR® technology is ideal in the treatment of a wide spectrum of conditions such as:

  • fine lines
  • deeper wrinkles
  • more severe skin laxity
  • prominent scarring

PLEXR® is the first and globally renowned treatment that applies Plasma Soft Surgery.

Among the various technologies for rejuvenation such as ultrasound, radiofrequency, botox and dermal filler, plasma has a very special position.

Plasma treatments can turn back the clock, smoothing out imperfections and vastly improving skin tone and texture after just one treatment!

PLEXR® offers safe and effective alternative to invasive surgical cosmetic procedures with little to no downtime – a minimally invasive surgery also known as Soft Surgery. The recovery time is minimal and results are expected to be seen immediately.

PLEXR® barely touches the skin to remove or tighten up sagginess, so no damage is caused to the underlying dermis or surrounding tissue. It offers strong and long-lasting effects that are comparable to invasive surgeries with far less risk.

What areas can be treated?

PLEXR® provides extraordinary results which normally could only be expected after surgeries such as facelift, necklift and blepharoplasty

Key uses:

  • Eyebag/eyelid correction (non-surgical blepharoplasty)
  • Facelift and necklift
  • Acne – active spots and scarring
  • Stretch marks and scars
  • Lines and wrinkles e.g. smoker’s lines
  • Skin lesions e.g. warts, xanthelasma, moles (flat or raised) and age spots
  • Tattoo removal

For other treatment options, please contact a member of the team who will be able to discuss your requirements.

How does the treatment work?

PLEXR® is very precise in targeting the superficial layer of skin without damaging the underlying or surrounding tissue. This takes effect without touching the skin by generating a state of matter called plasma. This acting mechanism leads to an instant skin-tightening effect, created by the retraction of tissue. The generation of new collagen and elastin fibres during the healing phase will also help to create further skin rejuvenating effects.

What are the advantages over surgeries?

  • No cutting of skin
  • No stitches required
  • Very low risk procedure
  • Quick and easy procedure
  • Minimal side effect and far less downtime
  • Most patients can return to work the same day
  • No thinning of the skin
  • Significant cost saving

Is it safe and does it hurt?

Local anaesthetic cream is applied for 30 minutes prior to non-surgical blepharoplasty this will minimise any discomfort and the procedure is then virtually painless! PLEXR® is internationally patented and globally certified for safety. PLEXR® technology has been used worldwide in over 1 million successful cases with no adverse events.
