Dr Arunansu Kar

Consultant Clinical Oncologist
Dr Kar has more than 20 years of experience in oncology and is a Consultant Oncologist at the Royal Free Hospital and is Honorary Associate Professor at University College of London. His interests lie in using latest trial data to treat cancers of the GI tract, thyroid, and skin, and in using innovative techniques in radiotherapy. He is involved in investigations where cancer has been identified but the primary has not been identified – Cancers of Unknown Primary. He is a Principal Investigator in a few clinical trials. In the field of education, he has published papers in various journals and is an examiner for University College London and the Royal College of Radiologists (oncology section).
