There has been significant investment into the department with subsequent service development which has opened the opportunity for private patients to be offered an appointment for CT scans, MRI and X-ray.
Our radiologists are highly skilled specialist staff, ensuring the highest quality and latest imaging techniques and scanners (wide bore) can be offered to patients. As the hepatobiliary centre of excellence, we have nationally renowned clinicians performing interventional CT guided procedures (e.g., nerve root injections).
Private patients will be offered an appointment for CT scans, MRI, Ultrasound & X-ray within 48 hours of the request.

Wide bore MRI scanner
Your comfort is important to us.
We use wide bore or open bore MRI scanner. It provides high quality image and has more space and wider head room compared to the traditional bore machine. With a diameter of 70cm and 145cm in length, it helps reduce discomfort and anxiety from patients who experience claustrophobia.
