Dr Deborah Boyle
MD, FRCOG, DFSRH
Deborah is a general gynaecologist dealing with period problems, hormonal issues, contraception and menopause. She has a highly specialised practice in the management of vulval disease and disorders. This embraces skin problems such as lichen sclerosus and the consequences that may arise but also covers problems with vulval pain and painful sex. Deborah is also a certified colposcopist and deals with abnormal smear tests and pre-cancerous conditions of the genital skin elsewhere.
Deborah has a strong background in the management of women with immune dysfunction.
As well as clinical practice, Deborah has a longstanding interest in the influence of peoples’ faith and beliefs on their preferences regarding healthcare and has lectured on this subject.
Deborah is someone who believes that all aspects of medicine are best practiced by taking into account the whole person and the context of the problem that they are presenting with.
