Dr Devani graduated with a distinction in clinical sciences from University College London in 2010 and completed his specialist training in respiratory and general medicine in the North Central/East London Deanery.
Dr Devani was appointed as a consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital in 2021. He cares for patients with a broad range of respiratory and general medical problems and has a sub-specialty interest in sleep and ventilation, respiratory failure and breathlessness.
Dr Devani undertook research within sleep apnoea, respiratory failure and sleep diagnostics. He has published and collaborated on several peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. He has a keen interest in quality and service improvement and formed part of the team winning a BMJ Award in 2019 for transformation of diagnostic pathways.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his young family, playing tennis and is a gardening enthusiast.
