Mr Daren Hanumunthadu

Mr Daren Hanumunthadu is a consultant ophthalmologist with a special interest in medical retina, inflammatory eye disease and cataract surgery.

Mr Hanumunthadu graduated from the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London and completed his ophthalmology training in London.

He has expertise in general ophthalmology with a special interest in retinal conditions such as diabetic eye disease and age-related macular degeneration as well as inflammatory eye disease (uveitis) using both eye and systemic treatments. He regularly performs cataract surgery; he has a particular experience in cataract surgery in those with retinal diseases and individualising their treatment to give the best possible visual outcome.
