Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon
Mr Komath is a consultant Maxillofacial surgeon at Royal Free with extensive training in all aspects of facial surgery from premier London Hospitals. He is certified to perform correction of facial deformity, aesthetic facial surgery including minimally invasive procedures, dental implantology, salivary gland disease and surgical management of skin cancers of the head and neck. He is also a member of the dermatology and facial deformity MDTs.
His audited surgical outcomes in skin cancer work are above the national average. He routinely audits facial deformity work and obtains excellent patient reported outcomes. He has an avid interest in clinical research and developing and incorporating new technologies in practice.
He has had his higher surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, working in some of London’s leading hospitals including Great Ormond Street Hospital, University College London Hospital and Northwest London Hospitals. He is a member and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He holds a fellowship with the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, cricket and spending as much time as possible with his family.
