This involves surgery to correct the swelling of the scrotum when there is a build up of fluid in the coverings of the testicle (known as hydrocele).  For adults an incision is made in the scrotum where the fluid will be drained away. Incisions are closed using dissolvable stitches. This is a day case procedure therefore you should be able to return home the same day.
