There are times when local or national public health advice will be published to control an infectious disease that puts the health of the population at risk. This is likely to change visiting arrangements within NHS PPU RFL.
In the event of a Department of Health and Social Care, UK Health Security Agency or local authority Public Health guidance or mandate being issued, the NHS PPU RFL Corporate Standard Infection Control Precautions Policy will be followed.
- Advice about visiting arrangements will be available via the hospital website.
- Visitors may be required to answer additional screening questions before admission to clinical areas and may require additional temperature checking and other testing according to public health guidance.
- Visiting may be restricted or prohibited for a period in alignment with public health guidance.
