Our private patients have quick and easy access to the consultant of their choice for consultations in the Lyndhurst Rooms - our dedicated out-patient clinic.
The Lyndhurst Rooms is our outpatient suite situated on the 12th floor of the Royal Free Hospital and is open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. It comprises of 8 consulting rooms and a minor treatment room.
All diagnostic facilities of the hospital are available at Lyndhurst Rooms, from a simple blood test to the most complex diagnostic scans, including.
- pathology
- nuclear scans including PET
- MRI/CT/Ultrasound/X-ray
- cardiac tests
- amyloid tests

Lyndhurst Rooms are located on the 12th floor of the Royal Free Hospital.
Directions from the main entrance:
Walk along the main corridor of the hospital, past the main hall (Atrium) on your right and take the main lifts to the 12th floor. Our reception staff will be ready to greet you as you leave the lifts.
Directions from the Rowland Hill Street entrance:
Walk to the end of the corridor and turn left. Walk to the end of this corridor until you see a reception desk on your left. Turn right and take the main lifts to the 12th floor, where our reception team will be ready to greet you on your arrival.
How to use the lifts:
Please ensure before entering any of the main lifts, to select the 12th Floor on the display units in the area. The display will show you which lift (labelled A-F) to enter. Lifts will only go to the selected floors.
During busy periods, you may not be able to enter your assigned lift due to space. If this happens, use the display to select the 12th floor again, to be assigned a new lift to enter.
