Cosmetic ear surgery also known as otoplasty or pinnaplasty is an approach to prominent ear correction, it is performed under local anaesthetic or general anaesthetic as a day case procedure and takes around 90 minutes.
Otoplasty is suitable for all ears. Whether ear prominence is due to softness of the anti-helical fold or to having a deep conchal bowl, an otoplasty procedure can always be used.
Procedure
Otoplasty is highly versatile. Your surgeon will make an incision on the back of the ear and the angle of the earβs anti-helical fold is changed and the conchal bowl is set back.

Aftercare
Recovery usually takes up to two weeks, before a return to normal activity can be expected.
