Dr Mark Harber is an honorary senior lecturer (UCL) and consultant Nephrologist at the Royal Free and has been in his current post since 2005.
As well as general nephrology Dr Harber has a specialist interest in transplantation and infectious disease associated with this.
He has a keen interest in teaching and post-graduate education; over the years having run several nephrology courses and am editor of ‘Practical Nephrology’ Text book (pub Springer 2014).
Dr Harber also promotes links with renal units in resource poor countries such as Myanmar, Malawi and Uganda, teaching and promoting the development of resources. He has been a primary and now secondary school governor for many years and am a keen advocate of science and healthy living.
